Solving a tough challenge
Being able to walk around in virtual reality without the limitations of restricted physical space is the stuff of science fiction. WIVR has developed a solution that would sound too good to be true, but we’re not quite ready to show it yet.

About me
I am Khalil Klouche, a researcher in human-computer interaction and the founder of WIVR. I have been working on the tough challenge of untethered VR locomotion for more than a year before finding an innovative approach that satisfies my demanding expectations for such a device: Precise tracking, natural balance (no harness, yuck!), no special shoes, in a package you can simply slide under your bed when not in use. We have a prototype that satisfies all these and we are soon ready to share it with the world.
